All the memory cards worked just fine. One thing to note is that if I have multiple cards inserted, only one memory card can be accessed at a time when connected to my S23 Ultra phone and Tab S7 tablet. It's not a limitation with the memory card reader, it's an issue with Android.

When I connected this memory card reader to my Windows PC, I was able to see all three memory card types show up as drives F:, G:, and H:. No need to install any drivers, the memory cards were recognized and accessible right away.

Transfer speeds were fairly quick. I was able to copy a 2.5GB video file to and from my microSD card using this memory card reader in about 35 seconds.

My USB-C hub already has a card reader built in, but unfortunately it is only connected to USB 2.0. The university card reader is connected via USB 3.0 (5Gbps), so faster data transfers should be possible than the very comfortable 40-45mb/s of my previous card reader.

Uni has given the card reader a nylon cable with a sufficient length of 60 cm, but this cannot be replaced. There is also a fixed USB-A to USB-C adapter. The case is made of plastic, but it makes a good impression. The model is a bit larger than the ultra-compact card readers without cables, but it is important to me not to generate too much shear force on the port, especially when using USB-C. The housing of the card reader is relatively light and has no feet, so you have to hold the card reader firmly when inserting cards.

It is possible to read/write multiple cards with the card reader (I tested 2 at the same time). With a Samsung Evo Plus 256GB, the card reader achieves 84MB/s writing and 95MB/s reading, which is consistent with the speeds that can be achieved by the card according to user reviews
